Primary characteristics have been gathered on all participants.  The data reflects age, ethnicity, level of education, gender, years with hearing loss and hearing aids.  These findings are reportedly consistent with the demographic characteristics of those who seek assistance for hearing loss.  Workshop participants were predominantly Caucasian females with more than 12 years of education, hard of hearing and between the ages of 45 and 64.
